Ingredients (2 portions)

500 ml of red dry wine
3 tablespoons of sugar (preferably brown sugar)
2-3 stripes of orange peel
1 cinnamon stick
7 cardamon pods
7 cloves
1 star anis
whipped cream or ice-cream to serve

Cooking method

Wine poure into a pan, add sugar and spices. Put on the stove and leave until the sugar melts.

Pears cut in half, remove the core and clean the skin.

Put the pears in wine and cook for around 30 minutes.

Take out the pears and put on a plate or ice-cream bowls.

Again put a pan with the wine on the stove and cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes, until the wine is slightly thickened. Cool it to warm temperature

Pour some sauce in the bowls with pears and put some cream or ice cream. Serve.
