Japanese car giant Toyota began mass production of the world’s first hydrogen-powered vehicle. The new sedan «Mirai» works only on hydrogen instead of harmful emissions it produces pure water. According to the designers, one filling is enough for 650 kilometers.

Japanese car Toyota plant will start to sell its first hydrogen sedan «Mirai» within the country, in December 2016 announced the beginning of sales in the United States.

Price trends in Japan is about $ 60 thousand. At the same time the government announced that all buyers of eco-friendly sedans receive a subsidy from the state of $ 17 thousand.

Since «Mirai» goes on hydrogen, it requires a special fuel stations. The process of filling the car takes just a few minutes. At the same time, according to the manufacturer, on a full tank sedan can travel about 650 kilometers, and the cost of filling the tank per 1 km is only $ 0.1.

The energy in a unique motor car produced by the oxidation of hydrogen in an electrochemical generator. The power of the electric motor is 136 horsepower.

In the upcoming future Honda also wants to take hydrogen market place. The company starts selling model FCV in 2016.
