Get ready, because the original “Star War” trilogy is headed back to select venues this summer for a limited roadshow release.

Alamo Drafthouse has announced “A New Hope,” “The Empire Strikes Back” and “Return of the Jedi” will screen back to back in 20 U.S. cities in August in an event called “The Return of the Trilogy.” The triple feature will also include specially curated videos and clips shown between the films, contests and props.

“It’s always been a dream to show the original ‘Star Wars’ trilogy again – somehow, someway,” Henri Mazza, Alamo’s vice president of of special events. “Seeing the originaltrilogy on the big screen for the first time is a real life-altering event and just a supreme amount of fun. When the films became available to book for screenings like these, we jumped at the chance to do something big.”

As you can see from the schedule, some of the screenings will be held in theaters, while others will take place under the stars. Tickets can be purchased beginning May 4 on The Return of the Trilogy website.
