We all love brisket, but one of the things we get asked more then anything is about rubs.

What rub should I use on my brisket to get it to come out perfect?

Not too salty, nice and spicy, and just the right amount of succulent flavor…

Well the answer is here with this one of a kind, yet very simple Cajun Rubbed Beef Brisket.

Watch the video below for step by step instructions on how to get it done now!

Here’s the Recipe:

Cajun Seasoning
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 1/2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 1/4 teaspoons dried oregano
1 1/4 teaspoons dried thyme

Rub the brisket entirely with cajun seasoning.

Wrap in plastic or foil and store in refrigerator overnight.

Smoke the brisket at 225 degrees F until internal temperature reaches 195F.

Roughly 1 1/2 hours per pound.

Let set for 30 minutes. Slice against the meat grain.

Enjoy!
